Delete your data

You can delete your GapJam account and its data at any time. There are two ways to do it.

1. From inside the app (recommended)

Open GapJam and go to your Profile.
Open Settings.
Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately and you are signed out.

2. By email

If you can't access the app, email gjprivacy@suleymanfelek.com from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We will verify the request and complete the deletion.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

your account and login (email);
your profile (username, display name, bio, profile photo);
your videos and their thumbnails;
your comments and direct messages;
your likes, follows, and other interactions.

What may be kept

We may retain a limited amount of information for a short period where required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons (for example, records related to a content report). These records are deleted once they are no longer needed.
