Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains, in plain language, what data MotoVolume handles and how. Almost nothing leaves your device. The summary below covers what most readers need; the full policy follows.
At a glance
- MotoVolume is built so that almost no data leaves your device. Your location, ride speed, and app preferences stay on your phone.
- We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any account identifier.
- We do not run analytics, advertising, or crash reporting that watches your behavior.
- Subscription handling is performed by Google Play Billing and Adapty. We do not see or store your payment details.
- Uninstalling the app deletes all your data.
1. Who we are
This app is published by Süleyman Felek, an independent app developer based in Türkiye. As publisher, Süleyman Felek is the data controller under both KVKK (Türkiye, Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data) and GDPR (EU, Regulation 2016/679).

2. What data MotoVolume uses
On your device only
The following is read or stored on your phone and never leaves it:
- Location (GPS). Read in real time to calculate your speed. Not logged, not transmitted, not written to disk. When the app stops, the current reading is discarded.
- App preferences. Theme, language, speed ranges, and volume levels are saved locally on your device. Not synced, not backed up to any server we control.
- Notification text. While ride mode is active, an ongoing system notification is shown so you know the service is running.
Handled by third parties (subscription only)
If you choose a paid subscription, the following systems process the transaction:
- Google Play Billing processes the actual payment. Google Play receives your purchase information directly, governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not see your card or payment details.
- Adapty (adapty.io) is a subscription management service that tells the app whether you have an active subscription. Adapty receives a randomized device identifier and your subscription state — no name, email, or payment details. See Adapty's Privacy Policy.
We never see, store, or transmit your name, email address, billing address, or payment instrument.
3. What we don't access
- Music or media accounts. MotoVolume never connects to Spotify, YouTube Music, or any music service. It only adjusts the system media volume — the channel your volume rocker controls.
- Contacts, calendar, photos, files. Not requested, not used.
- Microphone. Not used.
- Analytics, telemetry, advertising, behavior tracking. None bundled.
- Crash reporting. No third-party crash reporter is included.
- Personal identifiers. No name, email, phone number, or account is requested.
4. Data sharing
Beyond the subscription processing described in section 2, we do not share data with third parties — because we do not collect data to share.
5. Data retention and deletion
Because we do not store your data on any server we control, there is nothing for us to delete.
To delete all data MotoVolume holds locally, uninstall the app. Your preferences and any cached subscription state are removed by the operating system.
To request deletion of subscription-related data held by Adapty or Google Play, please contact those services directly through their privacy channels.
6. Your rights
Under KVKK (Türkiye, Law No. 6698)
You have the right to learn whether personal data about you is processed, to request information, correction, or deletion, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at MVprivacy@suleymanfelek.com.
Under GDPR (EU, Regulation 2016/679)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection, and data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
In practice, because MotoVolume does not collect identifying data, most of these rights are satisfied automatically — there is nothing for us to provide, correct, or delete on our side. For subscription-related data, please contact Adapty or Google Play directly.
7. Children's privacy
MotoVolume is not intended for users under 18. Operating a motorcycle requires a valid driver's license. We do not knowingly process data from children under 18. If you become aware that a minor is using the app, please contact us.
8. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version is published here with a new effective date. Significant changes are summarized in-app at the next release.
